Jim Hart - "He was an wonderful swimmer and spent his life doing incredible things with great vigor. Always a winner. He contributed a great deal to COMSA and nationals over the years. He was a very close friend of mine and well known to the older gang of COMSA swimmers. I had great adventures with him through the years. We formed a group of us almost 30 years ago which we named Mann's group after Skip Mann's death. Originally it consisted of all master's swimmers but we now have a few non-swimmers. Jack made many contributions to our group's monthly meetings over the years. And his mind was incredibly sharp to the end."
Linda Lebsack - "He was a very active Colorado Masters until just a few years ago with lots of national and world ranked swims. A West Point graduate and veteran of two tours in Vietnam, he was tough on keeping himself fit and helping others do the same. I remember Jack from way back in the early 1980's and the first World Championships in Christchurch, NZ. If there are relays in heaven he's got a great COMSA team to join."
