United States Masters Swimming (USMS) is a national organization that provides organized swim practices, competitions, and clinics for adults 18 and over. USMS is open to all swimmers (fitness, triathlete, competitive and non-competitive) who want to improve their fitness and swimming technique.

COMSA the Local Masters Swimming Committee (LMSC) is charged with regulating all masters swimming activities in the states of Colorado and Wyoming.

Be Our Guest
Thornton Masters, coached by Brian Hoyt, invite you to Be Their Guest Sunday,  December 7, 2014.   Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center.

A fun and "interesting" practice will begin at 8:30 am.  Thornton Masters will feed you breakfast afterwards.  There will be a $5 drop in fee collected by Brian that day.

The Colorado (COMSA) LMSC of USMS had been tracking open water swimmers the "old fashioned" way with pen and paper as long as they can remember. The processes involved volunteer members having to print and deliver paper logs weekly during the summer months to "The Pond" (a non-motorized lake within Chatfield State Park in Littleton, CO) to have them available for volunteer monitors during open water swim.
