United States Masters Swimming is a volunteer organization. Nationally there is a small handful of paid staff to run an organization of 52,000 members. With the exception of paid club and workout group coaches, the local Colorado Masters Swimming Association is a complete volunteer organization.
US Masters Swimming need volunteers to perform a variety of tasks including: timers and officials at swim meets, as boating safety monitors for open water swims, board members, working on a national committee, to name just a few. If you have a special skill or talent and would like to volunteer, the COMSA community will find a way to make use of your special talent. Contact Brian Hoyt to find out how you can make a difference.
